What is Paintless Dent Removal?
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is the method of directly removing a dent through the use of specialized tools and techniques, without the use of any paint, fillers, or solvents. The most common practice is gaining access to the backside of the panel that the dent is on, and using uniquely designed tools to strategically push the dent out. If there isn’t optimal access to the backside of a dent, a glue pulling system can be used which allows the dent to be removed by working from the top surface of the panel. PDR is a highly skilled craft that uses many different techniques and principles.
